Netizens have been praising a neighborhood supermarket in Mandaluyong for hiring individuals with autism.

Non-profit organization Autism Society Philippines recently posted photos of three men with autism sorting groceries at a Savemore branch at Light Mall in Mandaluyong City.

The photos have since gone viral on Facebook with over 9,000 “likes” and more than 3,200 shares as of writing as netizens praised the supermarket for giving employment opportunities to people with special needs.

Autism Society Philippines said it has partnered with SM, Independent Living Learning Center and the University of the Philippines to help people with autism get jobs.

Last year, a café in Quezon City also gained media attention for employing people with autism.
